Why One Step at a Time?

Gosh, coming up with a name for a new blog is almost paralyzing!! I must have sat here for an hour staring into space looking for the name that says it all, but not too much. A name that defines my new blog, but doesn't put it in a box. A name that I could be proud of and free to share with everyone without thinking they would be able to get some psychological profile on me just because of the title of my blog!

Ok, so maybe I didn't spend an hour thinking it up. Maybe it only took a few minutes. Maybe it's in a box and you now have me pegged to a "T". I don't know, but the process was paralyzing. Thankfully, that is over now.

So, what is up with the name? Well, I had to think about the reason behind starting the blog. I want to document our home renovation and show the steps. Of course, we are taking one step at a time. After the remodel, if I have been good about keeping it up, I want to consider keeping an online journal. It would be about life around here. My philosophy on most things in life just happens to be...yep, one step at a time. The name may be corny and overused, but for now it fits. Plus, I couldn't bare to spend another moment paralyzed by an irrational fear of finding "the one".
